INDEPENDENT DIPLOMA FOR REIKI PRACTITIONERS
All training will comply with the 2009 National Occupational Standards for Reiki and the requirements of the Reiki Core Curriculum.
1 Reiki theory and practical skills - min 15 hours with teacher, 35 hours self study
2 Practitioner skills – min 20 hours with teacher, 40 hours self study
3 Practice Management – min 10 hours with teacher, 20 hours self study
Training will take place over a period of 9 months, with one training session with the teacher per month. There will also be a need for a final review and assessment day. Students will be required to carry out directed self study and to complete both written and practical assignments, in addition to regular attendance at Reiki Shares. A record of achievement will be maintained and all work will be assessed by a qualified assessor against the National Occupational Standards. Students will be required to present all work in a folder for final assessment.

Opportunity for those attuned to Reiki at all levels to learn a little about Japanese Techniques.
1) Japanese Techniques, including meditation, for those with Reiki 1 and above
2) Japanese Techniques with basic Kototama and meditation, for those with Reiki 2 and above
3) Japanese Techniques with basic Kototama, meditation and Hiroshi Doi's Reiju, for Reiki Master Teachers
Many young people have expressed a desire to be taught Reiki, and we are pleased to be able to offer this course to young people between the ages of 5 and 15 years.
Parental consent will be required for all participants.
This is a one day course, specially adapted for young people.
Students will be required to carry out a number of treatments which are to be discussed with the tutor(s), prior to final certification.
A series of separate workshops which are aimed at helping the Reiki Teacher understand the requirements of the Reiki National Occupational Standards 2009. Each of one day duration.
