Reiki Master Teacher

This course is run on an "apprenticeship" basis in order to allow for the full training of the individual, practice and support during their development as a Master Teacher. It is suggested that in order to achieve full potential, at least 12 months have elapsed since Level 2, 18 months since Level 1. Average training time is 6-12 months depending on progress and previous experience, meeting regularly with the tutor.

Topics discussed include: Review of Level 3/Master Practitioner, Meditation techniques, Responsibilities of mastership and teaching, Attunement as a Master Teacher, Lesson planning, Teaching techniques, Training and Assessment, Preparation of Manuals, National Occupational Standards and Core Curriculum for Reiki.

Courses are arranged on an informal basis, with flexibility in schedules. Individuals will be required to do research, carry out a number of assignments, demonstrate teaching ability through workshops and teaching practice. They will also be expected to attend and help run Reiki Shares. Certificate is issued following successful completion of assignments, attunement and observation of both giving treatments and teaching. The emphasis throughout is on experience and professionalism.

Reiki Master Practitioner & Master Teacher can be taught as one course.
