Doreen Sawyer

Doreen is a qualified PA, Secretary, Teacher and Staff Trainer, with an extensive background in both business and education. She is also a fully qualified complementary therapist, and runs a successful therapy practice. With her background in Education, she is able to offer a full range of training courses, including Assessor training.
Having worked in administrative and managerial roles in industry, trained and qualified as a teacher, and subsequently going on to work as a trainer and assessor, Doreen has a wide range of experience in the commercial and educational world. She has expertise in a range of subject areas, and is a qualified Trainer, Assessor and Internal Verifier, specialising in NVQ work. She is a member of a number of Complementary Therapy organisations.
She has been involved at national level with Regulation of Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Reiki, and has a sound understanding of the regulatory process for therapists. She has been personally involved with the setting of National Occupational Standards for Reiki, with the associated Core Curriculum and has acted as Educational advisor for other Complementary Therapy organisations.
